Rhonda Gray – Biography
Rhonda currently lives in beautiful East Gippsland in country Victoria. A contemporary visual artist Rhonda works predominantly in oils. Her aim is to engage the viewer by combining her realistic practice with more contemporary styles and techniques.
Rhonda has a Diploma in visual art and has studied under many artists over the years. She admires the work of Margaret Olley, Margaret Preston, Giorgio Morandi, and Jeffery Smart.
Rhonda is a regular exhibitor both locally and across Victoria and has been awarded prizes at many shows. Rhonda has also participated in group exhibitions and has featured in Australian Artist, Art Edit and Gippsland Country life Magazines. In 2017 Rhonda featured on the TV series 'Colour in your life". Rhhonda delivers Workshops both in Victoria and interstate.
Rhonda’s works have been acquired for collections, both public and private, and have been exhibited in many regional galleries.
Rhondas work has won many awards including the Camberwell Art Show 'Best contemporary' piece.
Rhonda established the 'Rhonda Gray School of Art' in 2014, offering regular drawing and painting classes.
