Green Scrape by Kelly Burke

ARTIST NOTES: There are three works in this series. I've called it the primary/secondary series. I started with the same base of acrylic on canvas painted with red blue and yellow and then covered the base with a combination of oil paint colors to create the secondary color, in this case Green. I use a paint scraper to apply and remove sections of the oil paint for the scraped effect you see.

To date she has experimented with: photography, pottery, acrylic painting, oil painting, acrylic pouring, alcohol inks and resin in a multitude of uses. She is inspired by nature, music, her family, and the process of being creative itself.
